OKC Patriots 5th/6th Grade Football gives young athletes their first look at what Patriot football is all about and sets the foundation for everything that comes next.
Our 5th/6th Grade program has grown fast since it was established a few years ago, and for good reason. What started as a small program competing against towns across Oklahoma has developed into a competitive team in the MAC (the Midwest Athletic Conference), going up against programs throughout the Oklahoma City area.
We didn't build this program to be a starter league where kids just run around and learn the basics. From day one, our 5th- and 6th-grade athletes are introduced to the same terminology, concepts, and plays as our older teams. That means by the time a player reaches Middle School, he's not starting from scratch; he already knows how we do things.
Our coaches at this level are patient, experienced, and serious about developing young athletes the right way. We push these kids because we believe they can handle it, and we do it in an environment that's encouraging, competitive, and grounded in faith. If your son is ready to play real football with a program that has a plan for his development, this is where it starts.
Learn the game the right way. Start building something that lasts.
MAC Competition
Our 5th/6th-grade team competes in the Midwest Athletic Conference against programs throughout the OKC area in real league play with a real schedule.
Learning the Patriot Way
Players are introduced to the same terminology, concepts, and plays used by our Middle School and High School teams, giving them a head start when they move up.
The Right Foundation
This is where habits get built. Our coaches focus on fundamentals, effort, and character, the things that make a player coachable at every level above this one.
About the 5th/6th Grade program
The 5th/6th Grade program is one of the newer additions to the OKC Patriots organization, but it's grown quickly into something we're proud of. In a short time, our young athletes have put together a strong track record both on and off the field.
We run this program the same way we run everything else in the organization, with structure, accountability, and a standard that reflects our Christian values.
Parents who get involved at this level tend to stay, and kids who start here are better prepared for what's ahead than almost anyone they'll line up against. We're building something here.
Your son can be part of it from the ground floor.
